History Teacher Decapitated In France After Showing Cartoons Of Mohammed
A French history teacher who recently showed cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed to his students was beheaded outside his school on Friday. French President Emmanuel Macron called the incident an "Islamist terrorist attack". This is the second terrorist incident since the opening of an ongoing trial on the Charlie Hebdo shooting. French anti-terror prosecutors said that they were treating the assault as “a murder linked to a terrorist organization”. The attacker, whose identity has not yet been established, was shot dead by the police as they tried to arrest him. The total number of people currently detained in connection to the killing stands at nine.
